Yes. We have completed our home study and are fully certified to adopt.
Are you working with an attorney?
Yes. We have an excellent adoption attorney, and he is available to answer any of your questions. If you would like to speak with him, let us know and we can put you in touch with him.
How do you feel about open adoption?
We are excited about open adoption and we are very flexible about what that relationship could look like. This is something that we feel will be worked out during the adoption process and we are eager to share pictures, letters and arrange visits. We feel like the degree of openness should be adapted to the preferences of the biological parents, and we are happy to discuss what arrangement feels right to you.
